CommUNITY Arts STL has a free event to serve our city’s everyday heroes.
Next month we have two expressive painting workshops free to law enforcement, emergency responder, and ER/trauma medical groups. This population of serving community members suffer from constant exposure to stress and trauma, leading to high rates of depression, PTSD, suicidal tendencies, and substance abuse. CommUNITY Arts STL works to counteract the negative effects of high-stress professions through our program Expressive Arts Anonymous. Expressive Arts Anonymous (EAA) is is a FREE, twice-monthly workshop series for law enforcement, emergency responder and ER/trauma medical groups to promote mental wellness through art.
