St. Louis International Film Festival Opens

For 25 years now, the Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF) has opened doors in St. Louis for everyone to see some of the best films and cutting-edge features and shorts from around the globe.  From Nov. 3 – 13, see numerous films (and events) at several St. Louis venues.  This year, SLIFF is also paying tribute to longtime board chair Kim Tucci for his many contributions to the festival.  (Kim and Pasta House Company also sponsor Italian films annually for audiences to enjoy.)

This year’s Italian films and locations are:

NON ESSERE CATTIVI (Don’t Be Bad) by Claudio Caligari – showing Mon., Nov. 7 (7:15 p.m.) and Tues., Nov. 8 (9:00 p.m.) at Hi-Pointe Backlot.

BANAT, IL VIAGGIO by Adriano Valerio – showing Mon., Nov. 7 (4:45 p.m.) and Wed., Nov. 9 (2:15 p.m.) at Plaza Frontenac Cinema.

ARIANNA by Carlo Lavagna – showing Fri., Nov. 4 (5 p.m.) and Tues., Nov. 8 (7 p.m.) at Hi-Pointe Backlot.

LE CONFESSIONI (The Confessions) Sat., Nov. 12 (12:15 p.m.) and Sun., Nov. 13 (4:45 p.m.) at Plaza Frontenac Cinema.
