Find out how and why in “Mona Lisa Is Missing,” a fun, fascinating, and award-winning documentary about the 1911 theft of Leonardo da Vinci’s most famous masterpiece. Now more than a century since this unthinkable theft, writer/director Joe Medeiros finds the real reason an Italian workman named Vincenzo Peruggia stole the masterpiece from the Louvre — a reason even Peruggia’s only daughter didn’t know.
