Last Day to Let Alderman Vollmer Know What You Think

Now the Alderman is seeking your feedback once again. The Alderman Joe Vollmer has wanted to keep this property zoned as commercial and felt that is was the best way to preserve its buildings and protect the area surrounding it.  He is once again asking voters to give their opinion.  He feels that all previous attempts to get feedback were bias.  So let him know what you think by phone or email.  So we have to believe only him about what feedback was received.

Please email him (link provided) by this Monday to let him know you stand with us in supporting this proposed development!!

I continue to support this project, but I also respect  Mr. Mark Beffa’s comments who offers good insite: Fellow neighbors, you may have received a door hanger about this issue either yesterday or today. I have been told that Joe Vollmer has indicated that neither the “impartial” survey conducted by Hill 2000 nor the petition that circulated within the past few months will be considered valid. Joe has asked that the neighborhood contact him directly through voice mail, text, or email if you want your opinion heard. The deadline for this is tomorrow 11/14. As a resident for over 20 years, my own opinion is that we still have received nothing in writing from Sansone that allows us to hold them accountable for this development. Therefore, I am respectfully telling Joe no, I am not in favor of this project

This flyer was put out by Phil Torrisi and Tom Stremlau to give residents a chance to voice opinions directly with the alderman since the petition is no longer relevant due to a change in the plans and the Hill 2000 online survey was not vetted.
