Italy launching the first social network for finance

Virtual Trading Room is the first financial social network connecting the retail world with the institutionalone not only in Italy but worldwide. The innovative social network is structured in a very easy way, recalling Facebook in terms of instant messaging and characteristics of the accounts.

Users are financial and corporate professionals, managers, traders, brokers and investments societies, real estate agents and companies. Once registered, all users can update their profiles to make all others aware of their past work experiences (like on LinkedIn), they can also interact with other users looking for the profiles they are interested in, follow them and communicate with them. This constant connection also works as an effective tool to exchange best practices and to learn new operational techniques.

Virtual Trading Room has three technical sections: finance, real estate and companies. In all three sections there are specific operational tools for users to boost their online activity, also to create a real internal market place.

Virtual Trading Room was launched by UCapital, a company active in financial advisory born to connect the retail world with the institutional one. In fact, what exists today are “social trading platforms”, with very limited users working more as blogs.
